The Stretch Workshop

Many of us feel trapped by the tightness in our bodies and have given up hope for relief and better flexibility. But it’s not too late! Tight muscles can cause back pain, poor posture and increase your risk of injury. You don’t need to be a contortionist, but you do need good flexibility and range of motion in your muscles and joints.

In this workshop, we will work through the whole body, learning different types of stretching techniques, including dynamic, static and PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) stretches. You will also learn about stretching versus releasing, and how to use both to address different issues in your body. We will include stretches for common issues, such as sciatica, plantar fasciitis, and neck and shoulder pain. Plus, we will explore using props to facilitate and support safe stretching. Come as you are, and leave with a happy, liberated body!

All levels are welcome. Space is limited.
