The Essential Neck & Shoulder Workshop

Do you spend a lot of time hunched over a computer or phone? Do you suffer from a stiff neck or a shoulder that hurts every time you lift your arm? Then this is the workshop for you. Poor posture and movement patterns can cause weakness and pain in the arms, shoulders, upper back and neck. A combination of strength, flexibility and good alignment keeps the whole area balanced and healthy, allowing for a more active, pain-free lifestyle and enjoyment of the activities you love.

In this workshop, Jenna will delve into the bones and muscles that make up the “upper core”. This includes the arms, shoulders, ribcage, upper spine, neck and head. We’ll explore how balance and alignment of the upper core create optimal strength, flexibility and health in the upper body. Learn exercises that strengthen these muscles using simple tools, like hand weights, balls and resistance bands. And learn how to release and stretch the muscles to allow for healthy, pain-free movement. You will leave with your head and shoulders moving more freely and feel as though you’re floating above the ground!
