The Essential Self-Care Event Series

Dedicate this fall to your self-care with these three events designed by Beth Davis to help you Feel Better, Live Better, & Be Better!

1) Self Massage & Trigger Point Release Workshop (Sunday, 2 pm): Trigger points or knots in your tissue are caused by injury, bad posture, and/or repetitive movements. They can create pain in an area and also refer pain to other parts of the body. This 90-minute workshop will give you the self-massage tools and techniques to find and address your specific trigger points in the jaw, neck, shoulders, hands, arms, hips, back, legs, and feet. Beth will give you the tools to specifically locate and address your congested tissue to provide relief when you need it. If done regularly, it will help prevent trigger points from forming. You’ll feel better, sleep better, and be better.

This introductory workshop provides an excellent foundation for building the flexibility and strength explored in the next two 4-week series, Essential Stretch and Movement Skills for Life.

2) Essential Stretch 4-Week Series (Thursdays, 6 pm): Tight muscles tend to weaken and weak muscles tend to tighten. A regular weekly stretch routine is not only essential for providing relief from tight muscles, it actually improves your ability to build strength by increasing your range of movement. Beth will help you explore all the major muscle groups through a combination self massage and a variety of stretching techniques. This simple practice of self-care, will allow your body to release, produce endorphins, and melt away stress.

3) Movement Skills for Life 4-Week Series (Thursdays, 6 pm): There are five movements essential to every good workout. Mastering them provides the basis and support for all our everyday activities. This 4-week series will strengthen the muscles that allow us to push, pull, squat, hip hinge, and plank. Beth believes that movement is a life force, and that it should be fun and full of flow and ease. Join her to explore, enjoy, and improve your body’s movement potential. Go from tight and stiff to juicy joints and free ranges of motion!

In addition to receiving links to the live events, you will also receive links to each recording shortly after the event ends (only the in-studio event is recorded, not virtual participants).
