There’s a reason the Stomach Series, a sequence of 5 Pilates Mat exercises, is considered the holy grail of abdominal workouts. When taught well, it works all of your abdominal muscles, strengthening and conditioning them down to the deepest layers. In this 45-minute workshop, you will learn these movements to help you strengthen your abdominals for better core support and control, move from your center to avoid overworking your neck and back, and progress your abdominal work from the most beginner to the most advanced level.
We don’t come with an owner’s manual, but we should! The Body 101 series is about sharing simple, fundamental information and movements that can unlock a pathway, turn on a light bulb and transform the way you move and feel in your body.

*NOTE: You will need an exercise mat, ideally placed on a hard floor. If you have the following items, then have them handy. If not, no worries! Yoga strap and wash cloth. Check out our “What You Need” links for suggested items.
