Join Susana, Certified Pilates Teacher and Orthopedic Exercise Specialist, for this specialized Pilates equipment class designed for individuals with osteoporosis, osteopenia, and arthritis. Exercises are modified to avoid or limit vulnerable positions, such as spinal flexion and spinal twisting, and high impact movements, like rolling and jumping. Susana will focus on safe, neutral postures, strengthening bones through spring resistance, core strengthening, hip, leg and back strengthening, flexibility, and balance for fall prevention.
